Try using Lucas Oil Fuel Injector Cleaner. I use to burn alot of gas once i used this i got great mileage.

People aren't talking about bosch spark plugs its their O2 sensors that apparently don't work reliably on cb7's. I've heard they don't really give correct readings.

Correct. The o2 sensors will fail within 3 months for most people, if not immediately. There is a way to modify them to work, but I have not been able to find this information.

I've had bad luck with Bosch plugs myself... Platinum+4. My car was less responsive, and they fouled quickly. Of course, other things may have contributed to that. NGK or Denso plugs are all I'd use, personally.
As long as spark plugs are of the proper materials, gapped correctly, and in the proper heat range... it really is a matter of preference.

If he's getting gas mileage that is THAT bad, no goo in a bottle is going to fix it. It won't hurt, but it's not the sole solution.

30 miles to a tank!? is that according to the fuel gauge or to the tank? could just be a faulty sending unit that makes the gauge read way off(which is what happened to a friend of mine) if that's not the case more than likely there is a fuel leak which should be noticeable at that rate, in either the fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filter injectors etc. maybe even check for sticking brakesdoubtful but possible. keep us updated

If you let the tank run dry, which I don't, Tank capacity is 13 point something gal I believe, i get about 30 mpg, so maybe 390 per tank..... 92 DX 5 speed. Your numbers will be a little lower if you have auto.

i thought the tank is 17.2 gal? that would be more like 22 mpg
anything new happen with this yet? would like more info

The gas tank on my 91 is 14.7 gallons... at least that's what it says in the manual that came with the car. You should be able to go WAY more then 30 or so miles. At 22 MPG, with the 14.7 gal tank, you should be getting around 320 miles out of a full tank..... not 30. so.... that's about 2 MPG. you need to check your fuel system.

I have a 91 lx, and the gas tank is 17.1gallons. The most i've filled up is 16gallons, good luck trying to get the fuel system to suck up that last gallon puddle in the gastank. As for your fuel economy problems, we need more information. How far can you drive on a tank before it starts stalling out due to gas starvation, and how much gas does it take to fill the tank full? If your relying on the gas gauge, it may be innacurate, you should be able to get 300+ miles to a tankful. Also as everyone else has mentioned, check your timing, replace your spark plugs, wires, distributer cap, and rotor. Replace fuel filter, air filter. If you are going through a full tank of gas in 30 miles, you either have a leak somewhere, and if you were running that rich you'd have the biggest cloud of smoke coming out of your exhaust, but i'd expect the engine to flood first if you were really going through that much gas without a leak.
