ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    h22 performance??

hey guys, i have a 91 accord ex coupe i swaped a h22a in it n using a lx f22 tranny and a skunk2 intake manifold.n also have a p28 ecu vtec pops...but its not running how a h22 should run any ideas why?? thanks

first of all, is your P28 tuned? And if yes, was it tuned before the skunk2 IM install or after? When changing something like the intake manifold, you must retune.

Next, if it is still not running the way it should. Start checking everything from doing a compression test, to checking ALL wiring and grounds, to doing a full engine tune-up

Is your air filter clean? I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my H22 until I looked at my CAI filter and it was covered in mud lol

Run the car the way it is first make sure everything is okay then modify it. Dont want problems ontop of problems.

are you saying that you were running a stock P28 with an H22?

            a P28 is for a 1.6Liter 125hp Civic engine........

is this starting to make sense yet?

in other words... YOU HAVE TO GET IT TUNED before you can even drive the car with a P28

You obviously didn't know that the P28 wouldn't run your H22 or you wouldn't have gone out and tried street racing a Del Sol. Nore would you have posted this thread. You would have chipped and tuned your P28 first.

Hopefully you get your H22 tuned before you run it lean and blow it up!
