Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

master kit for motor?

    master kit for motor?

    i just got a motor from a junkyard and all the seals(rear main, cam, crank, valve stem, and balance seal) are bad. does auto zone or napa or any auto parts store sell the master kit that has all the seals ill need. thanks alot..

    There may not be a "master kit", but you can certainly find each individual seal.

    It would be best to get them directly from Honda, though.

      I just went and bought just about EVERY gasket(minus the Headgasket, thats another $70 from honda) i needed to finish my rebuild on my h22..I spent $295.05 with a 20% discount thanks to a friend of mine...

      Just be ready to spend some money

        i found some online but it will take about a week to ship here..i know they make master kits for neons and stuff..how much would it run for an f22 if i done it all seperately without the head gasket?

          I bet it is out there some where but for certain gasket i would just go with OEM. But since u got the motor outside i'd do as much as i can to get it ready.

            They do have an upper and lower kit from auto zone or advanced from felpro, but i used all genuine honda seals with discount also. lol dont know how much the kits are, but my buddy just got both top and bottom from auto zone

              yea i found a conversion kit..but i dont know what it comes with but its 82.99 for all the seals but the head gasket..and i am also going to replace the timing belt...and im having my buddy but my head in a hot tank all day so its going to be nice and clean...cant wait until i have my car back...its been almost a month...its killing me
