ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

how to change the back arm

Ok I got a bent rear arm the piece that's holds the disc and shocks and everything else in place. I think its called the sway bar. Now the question is would I have to get it off a car that is the same as mine. The reason being is cause I haven't been able to find one that is disc. I've only been able to find the ones wit the drums. Can I just take off the hub and replace wit my disc or would I have to modifie it to fit.if u can help that would be really helpful thanks

We can't help you unless you're sure about what the part in question is. Many suspension components are supposed to have a bend in them to get around other objects. Your best bet is to take a picture of the part you're worried about and post it up so we can actually see.....you'll get much better response to almost any topic if you have pics or video. If you don't have a camera, go on hondapartdeals.com and find the component that's bent and let us know.

Maybe but I think he just needs to know whether the rear sway arm is the same for drum and disc models so he can swap in a used one from a CB7 that has rear drum brakes on his disc brake DX. I am assuming he knows the swayarm is bent because of a collision or something.

Anyone know if the rear swaybar on the disc brake CB7 is the same as on the drum brake CB7?

OP, look up the posts on rear disc brake swaps. They will outline what parts need to be changed when adding rear disc brakes to a drum brake model cb7. I'm guessing that the rear swayarm is different between the disc and drum models because they will need mounting holes on them for the calipers. But check the disc brake swap howtos and the info should be in there.

Drum brake and disc brake rear sway bars are the same. They connect to the trailing arm so there is no reason for it to be diffrent.

Sounds like you need an alignment. A bent sway bar means there is probaly somthing else bent down there too.
