ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Avg MPG with an auto

To the guys with autos, what kind of Milage are you getting? My dx 5spd gets around 27 with 283000 on it. We just got a 93 ex auto 171,000 for the wife to drive. f22a6 ex. so far the best has been 24.5, last one was 23. The plugs are good and it runs fine. New airfilter. I know the auto takes more to turn but that much?

I get about 400 miles of driving with 20 dollars worth of gas, I will have to do the math next time I fill up to find out the MPG.

i get around 15-20 driving like a complete idiot, I put 4 gallons in my car when it was nearly out of gas and drove 120 miles at a consitant speed on the highway. So about 28-30mph depending on how much gas was still in my tank.

Thanks guys. Guess I didnt realize that the auto was that much lower. Still better than the 16 she gets out of her trailblazer.

I know this isn't completely relevant but I have a 95 lx auto and on a really bad day I'll get like 23 mpg (lots of cold starts and short trips) and on a somewhat bad day (traffic wise) I'll get 27 mpg, most of the time I get 30-31 mpg, my best that I've noticed was 34 mpg
