hello i was wonderrin if a h22a4 would work in my 93 accord? and wat would i need to go from obd1 to obd11??? and i live in cali so smog is a B!!!! thanks for the help if u can.

The h22a4 will work

The conversion would be from obdII to obdI
And you need
Dizzy
Injectors
Ecu

ok so wat about the wirring harness? and wat trans can i use? or is the jdm trans, h22a1,h22a4 all the same????

I know any tranny other then the SH prelude one will work. All F and H series trans.

The wiring harness out of your accord will be used. With some minor modifications.

as a wire for the V-tec and thats all ive heard that i have to run correct ?? o if u just have a motor and trans to look at with out the car how can u tell if its an SH?

there well be a code on the side of the transmission. if you get that code we can tell you what it is or you can search online and find what it is.

What is the 4 digit tranny id..

should be m2s4 or m2f4 or along those lines..

There is a wire for vtec/Iabs if you dont have an f22a6 in the car

and the knock sensor

it says SH on it. plus the engine has this large ass gizmo by the oil filter.

also the vtec needs 2 wires added. & the knock sensor 1 wire added

o well theres a guy in town that had a 01 lude that a tree fell on. the motor has only 28k on it and he has the odomiter with it and he wants $1000 for everything!! and i didnt want to buy it and it not pass smog, not fit and or be a big pain in the A!! and i just called him and left him a message so hopefully he calls back asap. so with that said ill have the wait tell he calls me and ask him wat model it is. Is there a post about how and where to run those wires???and i do have a f22a6 in my whip!!

The A4 has 200hp, the A1 has 195hp. You'd never know the difference, honestly.

The code is on the transmission. However, if you're getting the entire car, you can just look at it to see if it says SH or ATTS anywhere on it. If so, you can't use the transmisison.

There are threads in the Swaps section of this forum that will help you do the OBD conversion, as well as the general install and wiring.

from what im reading..im guessing i have a sh motor lol cause mine has that weird thing by the oil filter lol but its ok im just using the motor..and for your obd conversion some parts from the f..would be front water neck,fuel rail,egr..depends if you know your wiring,injecters thats the same if you know your wires your good,and ac..bracket,alternator,jdm dizzy,p13 ecu,oil sensor,and your front and rear bracket
