Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Running Problems

    im not sure how to describe this perfectly but ill give it my best shot. when my car gets around 2000-2300ish rpm and i try to accelerate it almost cuts out and i have to let off the pedal to make it stop. also when idling it cuts out when the engine is heated up. i am looking to fix this because its kind of embarrasing. where should i start? also car doesnt seem as quick at accelerating as it used to be maybe related? please help!

          I bet it's your ignition coil. I would do a full tune up with new coil and distributer cap. Sounds like the exact same problem I had, I changed them out ans it's running good as new.

            From personal experience, it sounds exactly like an o2 sensor problem. I had the same issue happen to me. Quick test would be to unplug the o2 sensor and see if the problem goes away. (Yes the check engine light will come on, but its ok)

                im kinda low on cash these days and i looked them upand found out they arent exactly cheap. if i buy one and it doesnt fix the problem is there any advantages to it or would it be a complete waste of money?

                  when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? All the above are probly excellent suggestions, but fuel filters are cheap and maybe you're due for one.

                    ive owned the car since about halfway through last summer and god knows how long its been since anything was done to it so im gonna need to replace alot eventually.
