My coupe started making this loud grinding noise when going down the road. As soon as I hit the brake padel, the noise would stop, once I release the brake the continue to go forward, the noise returns.
I still have lots of meat on the brake pad from looking through the wheels. So, i jacked up the front the car and just manually rotate the front wheels. It will make the same grinding sound when I rotate the front left wheel, but no noise from the right wheel when I turn it.
What could this be? I visually inspected the cv-boot at the axle and it looks intact. No leak of any kind. Could this be a wheel bearing problem or I just have a bad brake pad/rotor?
Thanks
