ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Your link doesn't go anywhere.

You don't buy the oil filled mount that comes on the EX models. The LX/DX mount (for the F22A1) is the one you want.

Deev, my 10th anniversary (LXA) had the oil filled mount, are you sure the regular LX and DX didn't have it also? I had the understanding that all the autos got the fluid filled mount.

OP: Look behind your intake manifold on the firewall. Is there a small switch that was a 2-wire harness coming straight to it from the passenger side, AND has a vacuum line from the intake plenum to that switch, AND another vacuum line from the switch down to the rear motor mount?

If you have the mount with the solenoid valve on it the part number is 8984 $63.99 and if you have the mount without the solenoid valve the part number is 8011 $83.99 at Advance Auto Parts.

i too believe that most, if not all, auto's have the mount with the vacuum line and solenoid. when i helped adam (mndude07) do his auto-5spd swap, his car had it and its a DX and is one of the most factory-option-deprived accords i've ever seen.

If you have an automatic, you have the oil filled mount, with hoses running to it. (95% sure on this, if I'm wrong, please correct me). However, it would be smart to buy a dx/lx non-auto rear bracket, and use a dx/lx 5spd mount. They are more simple and stronger.

I always thought that was an EX-only thing... My lack of hands-on experience with automatic CBs is showing! Sorry if my information is incorrect...
