92 accord coupe lx rpm surge

Howdy folks! I’m a new here, u guys kick ass! I’m glad I found this forum. I have a problem with my accord, while driving 65 mph, my RPM will jump up and down. Say its doing 2,600 rpm smoothly and then will jump up to 2,900 rpm or 3,000 rpm, and hold for about 20 to 30 seconds and then drop back down and start all over again. Sometimes I can feel the slight jerk when it surges and its getting on my freaking nerves.
Things recently done to the car, thanks to all the great write up found in here.
Both timing belts replacements
Valve adjustment
Valve cover gasket, upper tower seals and lower tower O-ring seals
Set Idle & Ignition timing (excellent write, 1st time doing it & Yes, nailed it.)
EGR valve and port removal and clean out with a lot carb cleaner.

At the moment, that’s where I’m at. Would appreciate a any if not all clarifications

Thanx 4 getting back at me. I did look up the IACV write up, follow it to a "T". It was loose and did tight it up abit, bounce the cone, sprayed the crap out of it with carb cleaner. Took it out for a 20 min. (freeway) test cruise, with no improvements.
Haven’t done the FITV yet, Imp kinda new in here. How do look up threads in here?

The fitv is notorious for causing this problem. You take the 2 screws off the top and you'll see a white cap looking thing. Tighten that, don't over tighten it, don't want to break it. If that doesn't work, check your coolant, if it's low or has air in the system, it'll cause that problem as well

Hmmmm! I put the car in P or N, the car idles fine in my drive way, I got that part by resetting belt, ignition and idle timing specs. My issue is more apparent when I’m on the highway doing 65 mph, only then can I see my rpm moving, bouncing in an hieratic way, along with a slight pull/jerk.
As for the coolant level, I put in a new water pump and radiator last summer and top it off. To my knowledge, the level has been constant since last year. But! didn’t bleed the air out through the valve ( Burpt it).

Read the 'sticky' threads at the top of this section. There is one dealing with this issue.

In the DIY section, there is another that goes into detail about properly setting your base idle. That would be a good thing to read as well.

Been there & done that, double check it. But I will continue to do more research and will consider any & all advice.
How do you check Intake manifold and exhaust manifold for leaks? I may go through all vacum hoses for suspecting leaks.

I read too quickly (and assumed that those replying to you had read properly...)... I didn't see the first time that this was happening at 65mph.

If the RPM is surging while the car is in gear and moving, then the car should be responding to it as well.

This suggests to me that you have a transmission issue. If your car has a manual transmisison, your clutch is probably shot. If your car is automatic, then there is an issue with your automatic transmission. While in gear, the engine is connected to the transmission, and therefore, connected to the wheels. If the engine can rev without changing the speed of the car, then something is seriously slipping.

WOW! This thread is taking a total 180 direction, but its all good. The tranny, possibly? Tranny flush and replacement fluid two years ago, and new radiator swap last summer. I had to cut the two cooling tranny lines leading to the radiator, cup lings did not match, so I spice them. My under carriage is all wet and oily, hey might be slowly leaking and haven’t check the fluid level in a while.

So you're probably leaking transmission fluid... which has probably destroyed your transmission.
