ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    CEL code 6, S Light 10 (I think)

As the title states I'm getting CEL code 6 "coolant temp sensor", did some research into it and thought it was the sensor under the "dizzy"
Well I changed that out and I'm still getting code 6 and a flashing s light.
I'm guessing its the sensor at the top radiator hose, I do not know where the 3rd sensor is located.
As for the TCU code 10 which sensor is that?

BTW, a thanks for suggesting the ground problem in my previous lighting issue thread, I found those 2 semi clear plugs tucked behind and not properly grounded to the chassis. Once I grounded those all my headlight issues went away.

    Bump.

Got some free time this weekend and despite the rain went to the junkyard and got some new plugs and some misc things.
The Coolant sensor plug under the dizzy itself was burned or clogged with oil so I spliced the cables and attached a new clean one on there. I also replaced the plug for the sensor on the top coming from the radiator to no avail.
Still getting Code 6 and TCU 10. Which sensor is the TCU code 10 referring to?
Any help is appreciated as this goes beyond my limited knowledge of cars. If there's anyone locally in the clearwater/tampa area who can show me anything, I'll fix your computers <3

You're in luck, that's also the coolant temperature sensor.

So TCU code 10 (which I did check/search) is the same sensor that's under the dizzy? Even After resetting the ECU several times I'm still getting code 6 and code 10. Is there another sensor that throws CEL code 6 that I'm not aware of?

Not so much as "new" plugs as finding a CB with good condition plugs and wiring them to mine. Mine had turned from green to black and smelled "crispy".

          Appreciate the Input.

Theres 2 sensors under the Dizzy - One is the gauge temp (the smaller one) the other is the ECT temp sensor (The larger one)

Plugs are cheap and important enough to buy new.

              Are you burning oil?
