It depends on how big the guy was before the operation.
Seriously, I doubt our trannys go 200 lbs. I know the GM 350 turbo tranny only runs about 125 lbs empty, and it's a bigger piece of machinery than ours is. The one in a Caddy CTS-V only weighs 102 lbs according to GM. I'd guess ours is in that range somewhere, there are heavier trannies, of course, but they're larger in size.Comment

Someone needs to take a transmission and put it on a bathroom scale. It's heavy enough that the reading would be accurate enough.

Possibly because nobody in this thread has said that they did that... so every number is a guess, as far as anyone that reads it is concerned.
You said it's 95lbs. Supergenius agreed, and then deleted his post that said so.
If you put it on a scale and came up with 95lbs, then we have our definitive answer.
