ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    For:
    1. Check your brake fluid level. I know that once I ran low, due to a leaking line and my BRAKE light came on and stayed on. If the plunger senses a low fluid level, it'll trigger this light to come on and may also trigger the ABS light to come on.

    2. When was the last time you replaced you fuel filter? It could be clogged if you haven't done it ever. Also it won't hurt to do a minor tune up if you haven't done that either (plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor). check your Air filter and tire pressure too, make sure thats good. Make sure you have no sticking calipers...that can cause the ABS light to come on if its dragging on the brake rotor and overheating it. That "whirring" noise could also be a wheel bearing going out, they tend to humm so its a possibility.

but the whirring noise could also very well be worn brake pads grinding on the rotor to i know ive experienced it from the idiot when i first bought my car.
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

The Noise could be the Fuel Pump I know on the 91-92 crossover year (92 with some 91 parts) some of the aftermarket fuel pumps don't fit quite right. The bottom of the pump where the screen filter goes sits at an angle and if its hitting the plastic tray it will make noise. When I replaced one last year you could hear it driving around town all the time and it was really noticeable at idle. Not sure if its a sign of a pump going bad but I guess in theory it could be working the pump harder if the fuel filter was clogged.

im pretty sure my back brakes are drum... arent they? Maybe i should get one of those fuel cleaner things from the gas station n try that? or take it back to firestone to have it checked out again?

Losiracer - i myself havent replaced it.. bought the car a year ago.. probably safe to assume it hasnt been done. Is that expensive? My college student budget cant handle much lol

Paging - I dont hear anything at idle.. its normally when i let off the brake n start rolling that it starts up.. i think it stops once up to speed, but im not sure.
