ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

can i put a d series on a cb7? and if so, wat do i need to do?

my fseries messed up so im in need of a quick engine ,what engines can i putin besides a hseries or fseries, must be any type of honda engine!!!!!!

Just buy a cheap f22. you can find them on craigslist all the time. Dont waste your time putting in a d series.

You would have to fab everything up to fit the little engine and it would be a waste of time and money.

Or just swap it out with a h22 for some more easy power, since your engine is already messed up.

it will cost more to put a d series engine in ur cb7 than to replace urs.

plus it's totallly a dif. tranny and it just wouldn't pull right. it would be sooo much slower than ur f22 engine..

Just look on internet there's a lot of website that imports engine from japan and they're really cheap sometimes. You could also go at a junk yard or buy a engine on craigslist for almost nothing. But please dont go to a D serie!!! You could buy a f22 if you dont have a lot of money or a h22 is you want more power.

K-series is Hondas newest thing, it's been proven to be better than the H-series in almost every way, but do to the costs it is not a average swap for a budget Honda tuner looking to get their car back on the road.

If you got 8-10k to throw around do a K-series swap... if you want ease and good reliability with mo power than the F22, throw a H22 in your car for under 2k if you do good shopping.

You can get an H22a auto swap from tiger japanese for like 700 plus shipping. But honestly, just get another F22a. Get to know it better, take care of it, and mod it. Im pushing 130whp on an auto with a Delta 272 cam. Add on the H23a intake manifold and you have another 20hp. Plus the bisimoto header, his heat shield gasket, the options are endless. I can spank about 90% of the n/a Civics here in Columbia.

F or H series. Those are the only ones that will bolt right in. F22A is the only one that will bolt in with absolutely no modification.

D series would need considerable fabrication, not to mention it would result in a VERY sluggish car until you did some heavy mods to it (like turbo).

K series needs custom mounts, such as the kit from Hasport, which starts at $500. Plus you need custom axles, wiring, engine management...

If you're desperate for an engine, get an F22A. They're very common. Very cheap. And they belong in the CB7.

Also, my advice to you... search around this site. You clearly haven't bothered to try to answer your own questions. We don't cater to lazy people around here. If you're not willing to help yourself, you'll find that we're not going to waste much of our time helping you.
