ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

        F22A4 OEM Rebuild kit
Alright, so my motor is due for a rebuild, I'm thinking about just doing an OEM rebuild kit for it, but I'm trying to hear and get some different ideas as to what I wanna do. I'm also thinking about just swapping a F22A6, but I'm not sure what the difference is in these motors. And also what rebuild kit should I go with if I don't swap an A6 in. Any help will be very appreciative. If I could afford an H22 swap I'd deff. would go in that route.

          Whats wrong with your f22a4?
          How many miles?
And its better just to do a motor swap.....f22a6 of course....if not going the h22 route.

He pulled that right out of another thread directly under this one.

What exactly are you trying to ask? If your engine is do for a rebuild, it means it needs rebuilt.

You got low miles, just due a full maintenance tune up on it.

Rebuild= Full tear down of the engine, block and head machined or P&P, and all new parts installed.

Yeah 143K is low mileage. If you think something is jacked up with the motor run a compression test.

Hell, I wish I only had 143k miles on my engine.

I'm just over 279k miles on my original block and I run it in autox events. With no problems yet.

These f22 engines can take a beating.

In the future, make your thread titles more descriptive, or your threads will simply be deleted.

                          Thanks.

dude if your looking for a rebuild go all OEM if you can. If your lucky and can wait..then look for a H22. I got my for trades and its JDM.
