Does anyone know if the mid pipe from the n1 catback systems sold on ebay will fit with a stock accord muffler? I'm trying to switch my exhaust system to mostly stock, however, I'm missing the mid pipe. I checked the junkyard, but the place I went to, they chop off the cat, and in the process they chop off part of the mid pipe. So I was thinking of getting the catback from ebay and just using the mid pipe.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

Ebay catback pipe with stock muffler?

It would all fit if welded, anything can at that point Otherwise, most aftermarket catbacks are 2.5", the OD of our's stock is 1-7/8", so in terms of that, No I don't think so? I mean the flanges might match up, just not sure if it'd all work well together if the piping diameter is different, I've never had to deal with this (used to work at a muffler shop). Just search, there's gotta be something somewhere most likely you'll have to see if you can get a stock B pipe elsewhere used or get a whole new stock system.
life is good.

To give a little background, I need to pass smog, but I can't pass because of my header and intake. Therefore, I decided to just switch everything back to stock. I currently have stock header, downpipe, cat, intake, and muffler. I can't utilize my current b pipe because its welded to everything that is currently on the car.
I've been searching for a b pipe, but the cheapest I found was about $90 (couldn't find one at the junkyard in decent condition). So it got me thinking, what if I buy the ebay catback system and just use the b pipe. Then I can sell the muffler that comes with it.
Hopefully this will clear some confusion up. I want to know if the stock muffler will fit the new piping. Will the flanges and bolt holes line up? Will the lengths be ok?
