Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Who's using the tas auto r.o.h conversion? + Other choices?

    I have a couple questions about the tas auto rotor over hub conversion.Are they quality hubs?Is it worth the price,and which car are they from? I couldnt find the section in the forums where you guys talked about which honda/acura oe 4 lug rotor over hub parts work. I would like to use 98-02 accord hubs, but I think someone said they wont work. Isn't it acura cl hubs?

    Accord 98-02 hubs won't work i think because of the inside diameter and the splines won't match up with our Accord axles.

    Acura CL 2.3 premiums will though because that's what i used and it all went into place like it was meant for it.

    the info i used was between this site , http://hondalover11279.tripod.com/BrakeRotor.html and Hondafan's thread but i can't find that right now. i'll post it after i get off of work around noon EST.

      tas uses oem hubs and bearings, not cheapos.

      the rest of the brake components in the kit are cheap shit im sure

        i bought the tas ROH when my front bearings gave out
        been using them for over 6 months, no problems so far

          I talked to the guy who did the 5lug swap with 98-02 front knuckles. I did some measurments on a 99 ex coupe at school and they SHOULD fit a cb7. All the bolts are the right sizes but the curve of the knuckle is a bit diffrent i think. Someone needs to try it to verify it but the axle should work they both have 36mm nuts on the end.

            its the spline count.

              I feel like a fucking idiot, all I had to do is go to yahoo and search rotor over hub conversion, it's the first fucking result!!!!! Thanks for the help anyway,sorry to waste your time.

                Or you could have clicked that link I posted and read someone elses research and be done with it. He even posted the part numbers for the hub and wheel bearing.

                    i love mine! but to save shipping i bought the rotors locally.
                    What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

                    You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                      i like the ROH kit from TASauto. i went ahead and got the big break kit and stainless steel braided lines along with the ROH and some Honda brand heavy duty brake fluid. i really like the feel of a larger rotor and caliper. the braking is firm but controllable. I don't have ABS and actually have to mean to lock the wheels now.

                        I know this but thats 5 lug. I talked to him and asked him what he looked for when trying to see if they fit to see if the 4 lug ones would fit. He told me

                        1: make sure the tie rod end goes in from the bottom up
                        2: make sure the axle nut is 36mm
                        3: Make sure the upper ( maybe lower i cant remember ) balljoing had a 17mm nut
                        4: Measure the distance of the knuckle/curve from the upper balljoint to lowerballjoint

                        Everything seems like it should work but i havent tried it myself because i just replaced the HOR brakes so im not going to double spend money when i dont need to.
