ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    What swap?

    Hi!
What engine would you recommend me?
I'm thinking, H22a, that would fit pretty good?
Is there something else in around the same price class that can be more fun?
or maybe building turbo on my f22?

And import it for me, would maybe be very expencive?

      Norway

Yes, the h22a fits in perfectly, and is the most common swap for our chassis.

Other good upgrades have been listed, and I would also recommend the f20b.

As for buying the engine, If you are doing it online I would suggest H motors online.

It is good to have someone from Norway on the board, I am of Norwegian decent, and am going there this summer.

201 Whp H22a with bolt ons, see the progress from stock f22a to now HERE

The H22 is a easy swap, and will make the most power in stock form.

If you want to go turbo, or do serious engine building, save your money. Do it to the F22A. The F22A has a lot of potential.

Converting to manual is fairly easy. The only difficult part is replacing the automatic transmission bracket (that is welded to the chassis) with the manual bracket. You can get around this by using a special mount made by Explicit Speed Performance (www.explicitspeedperformance.net) I don't know if they would ship to Norway, but they probably would.

The standard H22A has roughly 200hp (the older US models have 190). The H23A also has 200hp (if you are referring to the OBD2 JDM Accord DOHC VTEC motor, and not the H23A1 found in the US model Prelude Si, which has 160hp.) The H22 Type S and Euro R both made 220hp... but the difference in price between those two motors and the standard H22 is fairly large. For the difference in price, you could make more power with a regular H22A.

That's a very good price, considering the LSD transmission. Be wary of ebay sellers, though... you never know what you're going to get. I guess your options are limited in Norway, though...
