Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    No Heat!!!!!

    Whats up Yall!

    Ran into another problem Saterday night!
    I dont have any heat!!!!
    I turned the knob to the red! and put it on full blast!
    Actuly the knob turned all the way around past the red!
    Ive known about this problem since last year, But Didnt know about this site till this year!
    Anyway, being a man, i have just tuffed it out, and wore a skully, or a jacket to stay warm when i go somewhere in the winter months!
    I use warm water on my windshield when the ice forms! lol.
    Anyway,
    I actuly had a chick ride in my car with me halloween night!
    We went and got breakfast, after some drinking!!!!
    well, her freinds took her car and told me to drive her back to her car when we were done at the waffle house!!!!
    Soooo, it didn't go over well that i didnt have heat,
    And i bet she would have made out with me, if the conditions inside the car were right!
    I got to get this heat working ASAP!
    Its a major cock block!
    PLease help!

    Sounds like the cable isn't attached the back of the knob.

        Cable? so this is gonna be a dash removal???

            Usually..no heat means you are low on coolant. Be sure to check that first.

              If he's able to turn the knob past where it's supposed to go, that usually means the cable came unattached.



              OP, when you turn the knob back and forth (from cold to hot), can you here the heater core open and close?

                I dont guess so.
                All fluids are toped off! level is good!
                It just spins, past the red marking almost back to the blue! but eventuly stops.
                I might just be carrtying an exxtra jacket or a blanet or somethig for passangers!
                Pulln the dash just to hook that cable up is gonna suck!
                Is it worth it?
                Do i wanna cock blocked again?
                What if it needs a whole new cable??
                I thinnk i rember my "honda tech" telling me it was frayed about about 2 years ago>

                Has anybody else experianced this?

                    Could it be that the thermostat is stuck open? I read that you said you can turn the knob all the way around but still, it might be something to check out.

                      Make sure the knob is not broken, and the mechanism behind the knob isn't broken either. That mechanism behind it controls how far the knob turns, and is easy to replace as well.
