ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    what to do now?

well i haven't been on here for a while but i just finished my g22 vtec and i was doing an engine calculator and it says i have an 8.4:1 ratio and to put matter worst i have an h23a1 tranny . and now i am at a fork in the road N/a or FI direction. I always want something fast but i don't know what my definition of fast is. so can anybody help me?

the engine is not in a accord but in a heavy 2860lbs 5th gen prelude.

Your Prelude weighs more than that. An Accord weighs more than that! You're looking at about 3100lbs without gas in the tank...

What is this G22 VTEC you built? (Honda does have a G series, and it is not a mixture of F and H parts) ... I don't understand all this G22/G23 crap. Just say what block and head you used, so we can understand what you're asking for help with.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of frankenstein motors. I've known very few to be reliable, even those that were built by people with lots of experience.
You built yourself a custom motor without knowing what you wanted to do with it? Honestly... even though it will increase the unreliability factor further... I would go with a low-boost turbo setup, since you have that low compression. You're not going to make much power NA unless you raise that compression over 10:1 at least.

damn Deevergote you still have't changed haha. its a f22a1 block with a h22a4 head. but the only reason i made this motor was just because of my situation and also wanted to see if it could be done. and the 3100lbs you talking about is the "sh Prelude" but i probably gonna drive it for about 2 oil changes"7000 miles" and see were i go from there
