ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

alright that seems to work found a tutorial on one man bleeding on yotatech now my only concern is how to get the fluid out the reservoir so i dont spill it everywhere from the getgo and 2) do i need an actual bench to bench bleed? can I push in the thing while holding it with the other hand?

lol when i removed my clutch MC the other day to "bench" bleed it, i just held it in my hand while sitting on my cold concrete floor of a garage. I wish i had a work bench but that would require me to find a new home for our two lawn tractors.

Yeah I kind of hand bled mine lol. I didn't have a bench or vise or anything so I just put brake fluid in it and did it holding it with one hand and pushing the piston in with the other. As far as getting the brake fluid out of it i'm not sure. I just stuck a towel underneath it to catch any that dripped or came out and then dumped the rest in the yard lol. Just don't get any on your paint.

shame on you for dumping it in the yard. i collected all mine in old oil bottles which i'm going to ask Autozone if they can recycle.

but i totally agree, don't get any brake fluid on your paint. i spilled some and wiped it up right away only to find out it works instantly in removing paint all the way down to the primer.

Hey it wasn't that much lol. There was maybe like 2 cups left in it. I was topping off the fluid in my Acura and leaned back out from under the hood when I noticed a drop get on my fender. I wiped it up almost instantly with my shirt and the clear coat and some of the paint was already gone. That shit is lethal to paint.

Come on man, come on lol. You probably could but taking off a tire doesn't take but like 2 or 3 minutes and would be alot easier than fighting with doing it with the wheel still on the car.
