ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

you'll have to cut and weld it to fit.

it'll work. you just have to take it to a muffler shop and have it cut and welded to fit...i think it'll look nice and give it a nice mellow tone, unless you have the resonators removed.
i actually came up on a s2k oem exhaust and was gonna use it on the cb7, but i already have a 07 civic si oem muffler on...
i like the oem muffler look cause i dont get crap from cops

Not the complete cat but the muffler will do with as everyone mention, cut and weld.

Might as well have a custom exhaust shop make a system to fit your car, unless you are really good at cutting and welding stuff

so by cutting and welding means making it shorter correct? I currectly have one obx muffler on it with strait pipe after the cat and the noise is getting me tired. plus i believe that theres hole in between the header and the cat. any advices on how to get a nice low tone out of my exhaust system. i know i can go out and buy an expensive exhaust, but is there any other atternatives?

                  resonators.

I run 2.5" piping from the cat back, with an 18" resonator and a cherry bomb turbo muffler. It makes some noise, but not an excessive amount.

Get the exhaust leak fixed and add some resonators.

its gonna sound lame but Im not sure which obx muffler i have. I had the car for a little over 6 years and i had the same muffler for 5 so its been a while since i bought it. so a resonator would do the trick? ok thanks to everyone in here who game me their advice.

                          Not neccasarly lol.

But on my rx7 I just have 6 feet of resonators and I love the way it sounds. Not super loud just nice and low. But adding a resonator will give it a lower less raspy tone.

huh... still haven't had any sort of 5-0 problems with either the shiny-as-hell WS2 or my old loud-as-hell Borla straight through.
