i was looking into getting a dual cat back exhaust for my 91 coupe and I came across a cat back exhaust for a s2000. does anybody know if it might work on my car? has anyone heard anything like it? or have suggestions to what i could do?

it'll work. you just have to take it to a muffler shop and have it cut and welded to fit...i think it'll look nice and give it a nice mellow tone, unless you have the resonators removed.Originally posted by sabiomex View Post

so by cutting and welding means making it shorter correct? I currectly have one obx muffler on it with strait pipe after the cat and the noise is getting me tired. plus i believe that theres hole in between the header and the cat. any advices on how to get a nice low tone out of my exhaust system. i know i can go out and buy an expensive exhaust, but is there any other atternatives?Comment

I run 2.5" piping from the cat back, with an 18" resonator and a cherry bomb turbo muffler. It makes some noise, but not an excessive amount.Comment

its gonna sound lame but Im not sure which obx muffler i have. I had the car for a little over 6 years and i had the same muffler for 5 so its been a while since i bought it. so a resonator would do the trick? ok thanks to everyone in here who game me their advice.Comment

Not neccasarly lol.
But on my rx7 I just have 6 feet of resonators and I love the way it sounds. Not super loud just nice and low. But adding a resonator will give it a lower less raspy tone.Comment
