ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Rear ESP bracket

Is the rear ESP mount suppose to have a gap on each side of the dx rear bracket that i ordered. When i put the mount between the bracket, it has like a half inch on each side. Normal or not?

put bolt through and that bracket will conform to the mount.

I never took a pic of the rear motor mount.

are you having issues getting the bolt in?

No, dont have any pics yet, but im not having issues with the bolt going thru. The mount is not in the car yet. All i did was put the mount between the new bracket that i got, and there is alot of space between it on each side..

So you think it will pull together, seems like alot to me..

Its the one i need, lx, or dx, not sure which, its not tall like the ex bracket. It bends down in the back instead of up.

seems normal to me. Once I tightened mine, the bracket bent inwards and the gap was minimized.

Thanks, just wanted to know what other people did. Maybe it will bend in.

yeah the ESP mount is slightly narrower than the OEM mounts. I know this since I had a defective insert and when i went to put my OEM mount back in, it was too wide. I got a new insert and all is well now. The bolt will tighten the bracket around the ESP mount, don't worry.

you could always put some big washers in the spaces to take up the room.

Thats what i was thinking about doing, with the washers, just would be hard to keep them on there when i go to set the engine in. Thanks losi for the input, makes me feel better.
