ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Crower has 2 different Stage 2 cam setups. There are the street/strip all motor cams and the stage 2 turbo cams. Make sure they are the right oness for your setup. I'm not running them (yet), but I've been looking into getting a set of the Street/Strip N/A cams, but haven't found the fundage yet.

Any cam can break if not installed properly. Or if the proper supporting mods aren't installed with it. Way to spread the mis-information.
Finally Up and Running. Numbers to Follow. Check my MR

If they're "Stage 2", you might want to upgrade your valve springs as well. Most reputable companies say you can get away with the stock springs with "Stage 1", but with "Stage 2" they strong reccommend an upgrade.

Getting some headwork done would also help with power production, and getting a proper ECU tune would also take better advantage. Neither is necessary, though.

And for all the hundreds of Crower H22 cams floating around, I'm sure very few have broken. Unless at least one third of the cams sold have broken, it's very unfair to say that they break. A handful of broken cams could be the result of improper installation, shock during shipping, or a bad batch in the manufacturing process. It happens.
I've seen at least half a dozen broken F22A cams as well... I guess Honda cams break too

For a Crower Stage 2 cam, you will definitely need to change out your valve springs, and you may as well do the retainers wile you're at it. I hear there may be a slight modification to the head casting required as well for proper clearance.

true. if your going that far, just work ahead of yourself and get the head cleaned, and see about a mild port and polish. just something to help the head flow a little better. what use is a bigger set of lungs if you have asthma.

also look into upgraded valves/ Why tear into the head just to put stock stuff back. after all this you can say you have a built head and not just cams.
