Well i done, done it now. I was putting my new reverse glow gauge faces did fine up to the temp and the fuel. While trying to fiddle with it I broke the rod the needle sits on.
So I went to JY and pulled apart a 90-91 (I have a 92-93 MT cb) cluster. When I got it back home I found out that the innards of the clusters are different. Guess I'll get a new cluster only thing is my JY wants $50 for them. If anyone in PA or NJ has one lets negotiate.
When I put it all back together (actually while I was doing it) I notice that the piece responsible to making the needle move form 90-91 is larger than the 92-93 so my cluster is not even. further more the needle don't move.
Tomorrow after work I'm gonna put the needle from the 90-91 cluster in there figure using the right needle might help. Also with the rods in the 90-91 are sturdier than the 92-93's. Unlike the 92-93 rod the 90-91 rods are thicker.
