ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Like anything else, you get what you pay for. Companies like Form&Function, Koni, Neuspeed and skunk2 are good places to start. YES, theyre a little pricey, but your ride will be much better.
You also need to condier what kind of ride youd like to get, then choose the best spring/coilover that works.

go back to stock and buy some real lowering springs. u wont find any coilover (EXCEPT for ground control) that is anything close to comfortable. most likely u have used your stock tophats and struts on the shitty coils. sooo unless u have a spring compressor ur not gettin ur stocks back on. buy some struts that are meant for lowered cars and reuse ur oem tophats and buy some ground controls if u really want coils.
payfor it now or pay for it l8r

Personally, I was going to buy some cheapo Ebay coil-overs too, but luckily I fast fortunate enough to find this website before deciding on my purchase. Its not like ebay makes it any easier either, because sometimes the prices are very tempting. Besides, its not like it says: warning, these things will seriously dipshit the ride experience in your car... on the ad.
Anyhow, on to topic. My advice, put your original springs back, or get some originals from a junkyard or something. At this rate, your struts might go out because of the stress they are in, they weren't designed for those things.
Then, save some money and buy a proper suspension. Sure it might cost a lot($700+ on most kits), but I hear it is totally worth it. That's what I'm waiting to do.Last edited by shadowdlink; 10-04-2009, 08:29 PM.Accord 93 LX: H23 intake mani, Ebay short ram, P12 ecu, Full exhaust. Lots of noise... and that's about it, just noise. LOL
Mazdapeed MX-5 04: Begi Intake, Forge BOV, Ebay FMIC. Whoooooooosh... Phhhff!

Actually my ride is surprisingly smooth (for $170) UNTIL i hit a pothole. I do believe that its the shock. The springs were all i could afford so thanks for the support. Now that i have the springs Im happy with them as far as stance and shit but...if anyone has any better advice then im open if not and your just gonna chew as if you know my finances SAVE IT cuz honestly know plenty of ppl who spend cheaply and dont have any problems. Now back to the original ? shocks or bad spring remember this is only on the driver front.
Btw thanks for the welcome and your Cb is clean
