Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    pulley set

    I am having trouble finding a pulley set for my cb7. are there any sites where i could find one or would a h22a kit work on a f22a?

    Unorthodox Racing used to make them for the F22. I think they quit doing though. Also I think they would tear up or make something start messing up. You'd have to do more research on it. That's the only company I know of though.

          I forgot about them. I haven't looked for pulleys for an accord so I only knew of UR off the top of my head. Aren't they defective or something though? I thought I remembered Deev saying something about there were some of them to watch out for when buying them.

            UR pulleys are properly balanced. Cheap knockoff brands may not be. OBX is a knockoff brand, though one of the better ones...

            The accessory pulleys are fine... the worst they'll do is ruin your PS or alternator. The crank pulley, if not properly balanced, may cause oil pump failure... which will destroy your engine. UR crank pulleys have been blamed for oil pump failure as well, though I've never had that issue, and I've been running one since 2004.

            The crank pulley gives the most power out of the set.



            Also, AEM makes, or at least used to make, accessory pulleys.




            H22 pulleys would probably work. They'll fit, they'll be functional, and they SHOULDN'T cause damage...

              dude dont touch the UR crack pullys i had one on my new engine rebuild and it tore up the timing cover and rubbed all the time. i should take a picture of my old one it turned out like a worn brake rotor on one side

              8 Accords so far:

                That wasn't the pulley, then... unless you got a fake. If it did damage like that, that was an installation error.

                    They aren't made anymore for the F22A. As the OP mentioned, he could use H22A pulleys, but it wouldn't necessarily be the best idea.

                    The best way to find them is to look on ebay.


                    I wouldn't trust any crank pulley other than UR (unorthodox racing is the actual name of the company)

                      gonna be kinda hard to find an ACTUAL UR(i know thats the name of the company. just dont fell like spelling it out. lmao) on ebay. but ill take a look around tho. thanx.

                          i just went on ebay. found them for a crap load of other cars. just not the CB. went to UR's site and they have it up there for the accord and prelude. but you'll have to find a dealer as i cannot find where to buy it on the site.

                            If they have them for the F22A1 powered Prelude, then you could use that. (just throwing that out there)
