ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It really has nothing to do with compensating for the extra air flow because I'm pretty sure the ECU would do this automatically based on the O2 sensor reading.
You are talking about closed loop o2 control vs. the default fueling value in the map for that load site.

Essentially, and I am getting off topic here, in regards to the OP's question, but I see this misconception all the time.

Yes, an o2 sensor will work to adjust fuel values for a car, but this only occurs under a certain set of preset conditions. Usually, this is under a light throttle load, usually under 10%, and then the ecu will read the o2 sensor, see what afr or lambda value the car is at versus a target afr/lambda value that has been predetermined for that load cell, and it will make an adjustment up to a certain percentage based upon that. Usually it will not correct over 20%, but I am not sure what the default closed loop o2 calibrations are. On an aftermarket ecu that supports closed loop o2 control, these values are configurable. On a stock ecu, they are predetermined.
Cliffs niotes: it will only adjust under a certain throttle percentage and only adjust so much. It will not adjust this at 50 or 100% throttle.

That being said, the default fuel values that are programmed will be the predominant values when you are under load and more than just partial/cruising throttle. So for instance, say at 5200 RPM and -2.3 PSI, you have 2.65 ms of injection time, if you are at 100% throttle, this value will not change. If you were at about 5% throttle, it very may well change higher or lower to meet your target afr.

Also, closed loop o2 control changes are not permanent. These are emporary changes. This is not even a long term fuel trim, it is a short term fuel trim, something we could get into some other time.

      Holla.
