ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

93 LX is wandering toward the right. Bad struts or springs??

    Hey there,
I have a 93 lx and ive been having some issues lately with the car wandering toward the right at highway speeds. I know the struts and springs are worn because they are more than likely the originals. the left side of the car also seems to sit lower. Should i replace the struts/springs or could i be having a camber issue? if yes on the struts and springs, what are some suggestions for decent equipment at a decent price?
    Thanks!

the car has four new tires on it, and has been aligned. its also got brand new rotors and pads on the front but the steering wheel wobbles when breaking from highway speeds. It's like something isnt seated properly.

If it "wobbles" when braking, you may have warped rotors.

I had warped rotors about a month ago. I got the rotors pads and brake lines all replaced, which is why i think it might be a suspension issue

Well, then get new suspension. Even if it doesn't fix the issue, at least it'll look better.

check bushings, and ball joints. Being lowered like you puts alot of stress on them. Also did you break your brakes in correctly? Brake vibrations are usually (and especially after replacing) due to impropper break in. We used to have alot of issues with this with i was an audi tech where people would come in a week after having brakes done and saying their brakes were shaking at highway speeds. We usually would just go around the block and do a 30 30 30. thats thirty stops from 30 miles an hour in 30 feet each. This puts the brakes through the propper heat cycle needed to seat the pads properly and eliminate brake shimmy.
