ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

New blower only works on hi.

My old blower took a shit, and it dosnt work at all. Just got a brandnew one, layed it in the assembly and turned it on and it dosnt do anything until it gets to the hiest setting, as soon as i turn it down 1 notch it shuts off. Any ideas? I didnt plug in all the wires, just the one to the blower.

the wires for the blower are plugged in, but the ones for the flaps and such are not. I figured if the blower is plugged in thats all i'd need before i install the whole thing.

My friend Jason had this happen to his car. I don't know if it's the same for ours or not though but you might want to look into it. Check and see if there's a solenoid for the blower or somewhere in the wiring. If so then more than likely it's going out. At least that's what happened to him.

I got it, i had to plug in alll the wires, it didnt make sense cuz the blower was plugged in but i guess the flaps that change it to internal/external air had to be plugged in too, not just the one plug but all three or else it didnt work right. Kina weird.

There is a resistor pack somewhere in that wiring that wasn't plugged in. The reason it only worked on high was because that setting defaults to the full 12v. Without the resistor pack functioning to drop the voltage (you had an open circuit, since it wasn't connected at all), the lower fan speed settings don't work.

alot of times different parts work in conjunction with others... try pluggin all the wires and see what happens and go from there.

Yeah that's what I was getting at lol. He solved the problem. Then the next guy told him why it did what it did when everything wasn't hooked up which I learned something from. Then the next guy said that what was wrong is what was wrong lol. I'm just giving people shit this morning lol.
