speedo!!!!

I drove my accord the other day and the speedo stopped working after 10 min. of driving. I carefully drove home and checked the connection but it was tight then later that night I took the dash apart and checked the back of the speedo and everything was fine. i installed everything then let it sit for a night. then the next day I got in and drove it worked fine..... then 5 min. later it stopped working. I ordered a vss of ebay for $20. a hell of a deal compered to $95 at autozone. do you think this would solve the problem?

does your check engine light come on? and i would rather go to the scrappy yard and clean the sht out of it with carb cleaner and install that cost me nothing cuz i am slick lol

the check engine light does not come on.

most likely a new speed sensor, its located to the left of the intake manifold, directly down, towards the back of the transmission. It bolts straight up and down vertically. Has a gear at the end of it.
