ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Generic Headers VS Name Brand Headers

I was planning on buying some aftermarket headers. Is there really a big difference in Generic VS Name Brand or is it the price difference. Let me know. THANKS!

they are all the same execpt the bisimoto headers thanks to its unique design, and material, but other than that all the rest are the same, meaning higher flow, difference is that some will last longer, for example generic header may crack and/or leak will a megan will last a bit longer. once again like you know, you always get what you pay.

i'll agree here. oem sound with junkyard price. if it's power you're after, you need the Bisi header. but it's VERY pricy if you're a poor bastard like most of us =)

Not really that pricey if you think about what it does to a stock motor compared to, say a Megan header that cost like $160 and has no gains over the stock header. The Bisi header is actually a really good deal. Normally a header with a great design and great gains like the Bisimoto header would cost well over a grand.

i disagree, any header will gain over stock, simply the stock headers will last forever, they are cast iron....while most aftermarket are stainless steel and flows alot better, but don't really last that much....they either crack or leak,
i did feel difference with mine .2 secs faster at the 1/8 mile

The stock header on F22A4's are not cast iron. It is similar to a after market header. You won't notice any gain between a aftermarket header and a stock F22A4 header.
