ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It came in an accord so there shouldn't be much to change. I've never done a swap though so I couldn't say for sure what's needed. The search function is your friend right about now. I'll post a link if I can find anything though.

it should bolt right up,kinda similar to the H22.
your stock ecu might crank it up,but it will not be running right, until you get a P28 ecu and have some one who knows chip it for you with a good basemap .

this link should help you http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=5423

I'd also be careful with dealing for Tiger Japanese, especially if you're not located in Canada.

Here's some reviews on them on this site only:

Take the money you would spend on the swap and put it into your F motor.

EDIT: I don't know how this company is but it's one to look at for engines.

Yeah I heard about tiger but I bought motors from them before like 3 never had a problem. But you never know. Someone said just put the 550$ in my stock motor. If i put 550 into it do you think i could 200hp. I heard about people putting k-series pistons in them. But what would be the best bang for the buck

Ok if i deside to swap the f20 dohc non vtec in my car what should i watch out for . What problems would I have doing the swap. Or would i get better performance and reliable by putting k20 pistons in my f22. Dont really wont to go turbo

f20 non-vtec? how is that an upgrade?

first of all you are going from a 2.2L to a 2.0L....
and second, unless you are talking about the F20B dohc vtec, you aren't gaining any power at all.

IMO either go for an H22 with I/H/E or do the popular I/H/E/IM/cam/tune on your F22

well i am new to accord but someone gave me a spec of the f20 non vtec they said 197hp. if not what does it supposed to have, and no i dont want the h22 in my eyes the motor are junk i dont like those engine at all. In my experience on messing with them the are very tempermental engine.. Every little thing make them throw a fit.. Well anyways im not looking for much just want a car that will run between low 14s to high 14s and be a everyday driver, without turbo

the F20B SOHC came in the CD4. similar to the F20a SOHC to a certain extent.

                              F20B SOHC - CD4

                              F20B SOHC VTEC - CF4 VTS

                              F20B DOHC VTEC - CF4 SiR/SiR-T
