ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i finally got my ebay pipe and plan on getting the K&N filter this week. heres a pic of the ebay kit.

question is, what do i do and how do i do it? im searching all the posts about this topic as we speak but a lack of installation pics has me terribly confused.

    thanks in advance

ok take a screwdriver ( doesnt matter what kind ) or 8mm i wanna say if not a 10mm and look at the end of the stock black one. u gotta loosen that bolt. then u gotta pull the other crap thats comming out of it as well ( just pull ) then u gotta open your air box ( there should be 3 lil bolts thats are the same as the one u took out close to the end going into the motor ) from there lift the oem filter then u should see more bolts under it i dont remember ( its been 6 years lol ) undo those and lift the bottom of the oem airbox. from there the rest should be bruit force.
u wont beable to fit the cold air without cutting your frame, sooo ull be installing the S pipe put the black thing on one end with a cobra clamp then put the filter on the other and tighten those clamps. then put one more clamp on the end of the black thing so u can attach it where the oem one was. its pretty strait forward and simple if u look at one installed and they arent that hard to find on any website.

I have the same exact one except for mine is black. These are the only pics I have right now. It's raining outside or i'd go get you a couple more. You should get the idea though. The s pipe connects to the throttle body and the other one goes down beside your battery. As was mentioned before, you'll have to cut a hole by your battery so the other pipe can go through. Hope this helps.

so brandon, you only used the s-pipe right, and it fit okay (no major cutting or anything) because my friend may not have all those tools, just the basics to remove the airbox and get this into place

But one thing you'll need to do...get a K&N filter...I don't trust that ebay filter
