ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    f22a6 turbo

I searched for this, but I didn't find much. Feel free to send me a link to the proper thread if there is one and/or yell at me.
hypothetically, if you were to put a turbo on a stock f22a6, what would be the laundry list of things that would need to be done?
I've heard (and read) that you wouldn't need much at all. I've also heard its damn near impossible.

There are more than a couple of people here that are turbo'ed and making good numbers. It's not impossible, it's been done. Go to the performance tech section and look under forced induction at the top of the page and it should have everything you need to know.

Thanks a lot. I plan on doing it when I have the available money and after I get some other engine details in order. I was talking to someone about it who is kind of a know-it-all when it comes to cars...even though I've never seen him under a hood or with a set of tools in his in his possession (pretty annoying) and he said it could never happen.

next time you see him, straight up tell him he is ignorant

the F22Ax engine is a perfect base. a nice solid built, low compression engine. for turbo set ups, you don't want a high compression engine unless you like holes on the top of your pistons

I'm glad someone else asked this question, I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to turbo an f22a6 as well. I have one just sitting in the garage collecting dust, so I figured I might as well do something with it.

Check the Members Rides section, as well as the Forced Induction section of this website. There are plenty of examples. If you need someone to give you a list of parts, then perhaps this is not the project for you.

And your friend is a moron.
