ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

ok wel i fixed it. i changed the main relay and still nothing. i checked the fuses under the hood and they were all good. when i went to go check the under the dash fuse box i saw that the ecu fuse was blown. swapped it out and the car started fine. maybe the main relay going out caused the fuse to blow or maybe something else. but im going to leave the new relay in there.

Fuses being blown meaning short in the system which the fuse indicates.

LOL I told you man! I was even gonna tell you to check the ECU fuse, ehh it happens man, as long as you replace the fuses all correctly you should be fine like dont replace a 7.5 with a 10 you know? because that'll give you hell in the long run. I'm glad I was of some sort of help! sorry I wasnt around to reply soon enough but Ive been pretty caught up with my own car lol

hello i'm new here!I did not one to start a new thread,i seen many starting problem one's so i choose to reply to the newest one.

Just grabed a 92 lx and this is my 2nd cb7 and i own a cd5 too.I was reading your post because i have a similar problem with mine.Since i drive the car(must have been sitting a while before),it runs fine and started great. After sitting 2 day in the garage, the motors turns strong but dosen't start. Here some solution i found reading other post:

            Symptoms:No spark
CEL stay on no click from main relay
            The fuel pump dosen't prime
            Battery has power
Main relay looks ok(no crack visible in the weld)

What should i start with?Main relay?Even if it looks ok?
Then in order i guess ignitor, coil, distributor cap and rotor.

            Any imput would be appreciate

Btw,i found that the negative battery cable, near the transmission end,is all fluffy and extented(there is about 3 inches missing plastic and it is very large),with a green color on it.That cable will be change shortly, but meanwhile can it cause a no-start situation like this?

Thanks!I been following this site for years and it is my first post!Great site!
