ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Best Bang for the buck (I,H,E) Setup

Okie Dokie well i gots me a 1991 Honda Accord Ex and was wondering if you could help me out with a thing or two.

1st thing being if i wanted to put a little intake, header, exhaust combo on my car what would be the brand to go with while still keeping the wallet alive !?

    2nd
thing would be what exactly im looking for from these things. Not sure if i want to go with an short ram intake or cold air intake ( Not so sure which one really is better).

Exhaust wise, not looking for the rice out can. im looking for something quieter, not so quiet you can't tell the difference from that and stock. just a kinda in-between if possible.

Thx for the help i deff. appreciate it greatly.

P.s. if you like you can all post your i,h,e setups with or without pictures and sound.

SHort Ram Intae= as low as 20 bucks for piping and the filter can be up to 100 depending what brand or low brand from spectre to AEM, K&N....

Intake Manifold swap F22A6/H23A perfect for the SRI, junk yard price is random...

Header + Test pipe or Cat Converter combo! off ebay around 176 shipped shit make sure gaskets are good quality....

Exhaust people here usually go for N1 style Cat back, but in oyur case get 2.5 piping and then any chocie of muffler add a resonator to low down the sound....

ecu/ignition wise, for the F22A1/4 P12 would be the best! and Msd cap rotor coil blaster plugs Ngk wires Msd, though OEM DIZZY CAP is really reliable.....

get a Hyperstabilizer not really making your car fast but keeps the battery life last longer due to all that power.....and one thing if your auto try 5sp!...its the best bro,......

but b4 all this crap i'll tell you one thing i tell everyone....lol....It's your car stop asking people for suggestions do what you like! and make sure your car is at 100%

Cheap headers really do nothing for you. They only look nice.

If you don't want a loud exhaust, the Apexi WS2 or Greddy SP are the best options. The N1 style is loud.
