ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Help !! AC Retro fit kit not working !!

I just bought a universal retrofit kit from Auto Zone & doesn't fit ..Does Honda have a special size fitting for this ?? My other question is about the Compressor ..... do they sell a compressor seal kit for the Denso Compressors ?The Compressor is leaking from the seal right behind theEM- Clutch... Im trying to save a little $$$ & not have to buy a new compressor but will if i have to..

You will probably need a new compressor. Usually those kits come with the adapters to make the hose fit. Im guessing you mean the hose in the kit wont fit on the connector

Are you talking about the fitting to more refrigerant in? I got one the JY for like a buck. Everything went good until the my AC pressure switch went. Any body know if I gotta decompress the AC before I switch that out?

Yes you must evacuate the system. It will leak out through the sensor port.

Just peachy. So at the shop they want like $185 to do that. I'm call autozone to find if they have DIY kit for that or something.

So I made to call to Pep Boys who said they won't just evac the system.
AutoZone informed me that there is a possible $3,000.00 fine for letting this leak out. But they have the tool for the evac with out the tanks for storage. They also said that I could contact a local hvac company for tanks.

Another issue: History; to recharge my a/c I went the junk yard and picked up an adapter screwed it on, put hose on the tank, then connected it to the adapter and refilled. A fancy evac has never been done.

I may rambling here but I need a/c. I like the heat but I also like to escape and be comfortable. All I want the HCK to do is have an edge on the average highway idiot w/major safety, look good (I mean really good), and get to and from work in comfort.
