ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Need some new Head Bolts

Anybody knows where to get new bolts for F22A1 cylinder head beside Honda dealer? This is probably the third time it going to be change.

If you plan on taking your head off multiple times, its best to get an ARP Head Stud Kit, as when you repeatedly torque the head bolts, it wears away at the threads (edit: in the block itself), till eventually they strip. The bolts for the F22ax head is the same part number as the h23 part number for your information. I also have the picture and part number in my members ride thread.

It not that the bolts get strip but that the bolt stretch and thin in the middle. That why i want to replace it when it do the head gasket change. But thanks for the help.

Its the threads in the head that strip, and yes there are bolt stretching problems, but those are usually caused by repeatedly heating up & cooling down and the pressures they have to withstand during regular engine operation. If the threads in the block get stripped, they either have to be filled and retapped (hopefully straight), or you have to get a whole new head.

Thanks for the correction... the threads in the block strip from repeatedly torqueing headbolts. Previous posts edited.

From what my teacher tell me it strecth just by pulling it out and puting it back in and that the stretch bolt causes the Block to strip/ cross-thread when bolting it back in. Who know, You could be right. Last time when i did the head gasket change i wasn't sure if i torque to the right specs. This time im going to get digital torque wrench from Matco.
