ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

d16 intake on a f22?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's not going to fit, even if it did, it's designed to flow air to a 1.6 liter engine, as opposed to the 2.2 liter in the cb7. Your best bet is to look for an a6 or h23 IM or the a6 runners with the h23 plenum. There's more than a few threads about this intake setup on the site.

i think he is talking about an intake not manifold and yeah it will probably fit......but just in case a d16 manifold will NOT fit totally different bolt pattern and no gain inn that at all

The reason it is attached to your intake tube is so that your block is sucking in filtered air and not dirty air. Dirt in the valve train would not be good. You could run a small K&N crankcase filter instead of that hose to the intake.

The tube that goes from the intake tube to the valve cover is a fresh air line into the valve cover. the tube that goes from your valve cover to your intake plenum is the positive crankcase valve (PCV) It is used to suck the crank case gases out of your block. Without the air inlet from the intake tube. the PCV wouldn't be able to suck out out the gases.

It's the small filter in the place of the intake tube. Notice the block off bolt in the intake tube port.
If the PCV setup doesn't look right it's because my PCV hose goes from the valve cover down to an oil catch can that is strapped to the firewall. Then the hose comes back up from the can into the manifold upper plenum.
