ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Oil Leak From mysterious Place?

Today I discovered another leak today after replacing all the gasket seals.

After driving, there was a lot of smoke coming up from the throttle body area, right underneath it look. Which now i know its not my gasket seals.

I need to find this other place now.

any help would be great from what i saw when just looking under the car i saw oil drops from these locations.

This place has oil on it this is a thing coming from the firewall area.

This is one of the Four Pipes infront of the throttle body that has oil on it.

Oil Dripping from this Pan with four pipes under the car.

oil dripping from this one area on the body under the car. some corner of something.

    another picture of that pan

and the throttle body itself, where the smoke was coming up from.

so any help would be great. im planning on taking it up to a mechanic for them just to inspect the under body but still any input is great.

the oil pressure sender likes to leak alot and drip onto the exhaust causing a little bit of smoke on occasion.

i'd check it out at least. mine was leaking and the whole back of my block was covered in oil. incase you dont kno, the pressure sender in on the back of the block, above the oil filter, right below the middle of the intake manifold. going by your pictures, if your valve cover gasket is leaking, (which i believe you said you replaced?), then my money is on that oil pressure sender. if thats it, its like $10 at honda.

have you thought about it possibly being a power steering line leaking? looks like a good possibility to me. and as stated above oil pressure switch is a good source for leaks in that area also.

Get a can of Gunk Engine degreaser, SOAK the engine compartment and let it set, spray it clean, then start the engine and look for your leaks. Your bay is FILTHY, and oil likes to travel around. A clean bay will make it much easier to find the leaks. It would also help if you bought a Haynes manual and learned what those parts are that you're trying to describe. The more you learn about your ride, the easier it will be to both fix and ask for advice.

thats what I was going to advice clean the whole thing and then keep a close eye on it and you will see where the leaks coming from because eventually oil will travel down and hit other things.
