ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Dropzones ARE ebay stuff... and the only suspension components I've ever had break on me were Dropzone brand.

Additionally, there is no selling in the Beginner Forum. Normally, I ban people for that. I'm on my way out the door for work at the moment, though.

I have a complete skunk2 suspension on mine and rides terrible I'm the back. But sprint has a good set of lowering springs for around $170 with 2 1/4 drop. And they ride good. Childrey91 has them on his I'm bout to get a set courtesy of a fellow member. Don't go the cheap route. This will be my third suspension setup this year. Save and get quality stuff.

what kind of terrain are you traversing?

And are they springs or coils?

There is no such thing as too low. Just save some money and get a good set of f/f or ground control and koni, or some of the better suspension stuff. Maybe a good spring/strut will be best. Sportlines, Neuspeed race, and theres a few others. Check out the suspension section and the sticky thats long about suspensions. It's long but a good read and helpful.

they are skunk2 basic 2 inch lowering springs.

the terrain is highway and city driving the streets here in georgia are good until you go into atlanta and i dont go there often. and this is not my dd i drive my rx8 to and from work. i think in one oil change 3000 miles the front blew.

the shunk2's with kyb's is a decent set up rode and handled great ubtil the front shocks took a crap. thats why i was asking do you think they went defective i was lookin for my reciept to see what the warranty was on them.
