ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

that ebay listing is incorrect if it has it posted to 02.

plus don't get cheap ebay coilover's unless you really want to have that boat ride feeling go for it.

it looks funny when you hit a bump.

I would get lowering springs instead of cheap coilovers.
Had them before on stock struts and boy it suck big time.

i dont think so...i like kyb's. im using sprint springs w/ kyb's.. its got a nice smooth oem feel..i prefer kyb's over tokicos...i've seen a lot of tokicos blow prematurely
btw, i got my kyb struts new, almost 3 years old now, w/ used, way older sprint springs from a friend and they still ride sweet

KYB GR2s are stock replacement shocks. KYB AGX aren't supposed to be lowered more than 1.5". They won't blow right away, but any lower than that WILL eventually blow them.

But at least you're not dropping on stock shocks!

Ebay is not a brand. The items sold on ebay vary in quality. However, cheap coilovers are generally not the correct spring rate for our cars, are of very poor quality, and they CAN be dangerous. IF you can't afford to do it right, you can't afford to do it at all. Suspension isn't something to cheap out on. When that fails, you lose control of your car. And it won't fail in your driveway... it'll fail when you're racing some Civic on the highway going 90mph.

I have a set of dropzones. They are probably a lil better than e-bay stuff. I love my Sprint springs on dropzone shocks. Sprint springs on any shocks is a good ride.
