ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

The 90-91 F22A1 and F22A4 are identical in every way other than the F22A4's exhaust manifold. The distributors should also be the same thing.
Go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and compare part numbers. If they are the same number, they are the same part.

id get the distribitor o ring and a new cap and rotor call it a day. What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Yes, that looks to be an external coil dizzy. It's not an F22A4 piece in that case.
To use it, you'd need an external coil and the wire that goes to it. I don't know if there are any wiring differences as far as the harness goes. I don't believe there are, but I won't say anything definite.
Someone here WILL know that.

ive swaped a 93 and 90. there is a weird main harness plug on the passenger side thats kinda like a red brownish color. i think that has something to do with the internal coil. on the 93 there are three of almost the same grey color plugs on the same side of the harness. not sure if thats any help but it confused me on my 90 swap.
if swappin a a4 motor into any 90 or 91 the harness should already be good to go and ur stock dizzy will still function properly.

its very simple. unplug the orginal one, (should be three plugs) loosen the 3 bolts that hold it to the head (12mm) and instalation is backwards of uninstall. the dizzy only goes in one way, from what everyone says BUT i did have a 93 that would go in either way. if u put it in and it turns over and won't fire take it back out, spin the dizzy 180 degress and boom good to go.
you don't have a external coil on ur 91. it didn't come from the factory that way. ur coil is already inside ur dizzy and its all plug and play
ur dizzy only has 4 spark plug wire plugs not 5. if it does have 5 u have the wrong dizzy.Last edited by chillin943; 07-28-2009, 06:47 PM.
