my axel on the drivers side has sludge and fluid comeing from it, whats the easiest way to replace this axel?

look at the cv joint replacement threads. If the goop is coming from the rubber boots, then you need to replace the cv joint.Originally posted by 91accorddxbuds View Post
if it's coming from between the tranny and where the axle inserts into the tranny, you need to basically do the whole cv joint removal/replacement, but replace the seal on the transmission where the axle end goes in first before replacing the cv joint into the transmission.
go on youtube and look up cv joint replacement to get a visual on the basic idea, then read the threads on here (use the search function) and go at it.
