As Deev and I said, the most likely culprit is the o2 sensor.
But just for the sake of it - Has this problem just occured after recent work / mods or has it slowly gotten worse over time?

well if i take the o2 sensor off will it be a certain color if its bad...like toasted pretty much.. i know it will be black but any thing else...and no after i dont all my mods it started like 2 months after that...and ive tried injector cleaner and engine restore stuff and nothin makes it better... it doesnt do it as bad tho when i first start the car as in the car being cold it just does it whenever the car is at normal running temp...if its any importance ever since the black smoke has been occuring ive noticed my car hesitates in 1st and 2nd gear a little bit and then after 3k to 4k its fine...thanks

The hesitation will be due to running rich.
You could also try and reset the ecu to see if that helps.

correct when its cold it doesnt do it...but when its at normal temp it does it real bad...my car has always ran rich but not as bad as it is now...and how do i reset the ecu? thanksComment

To reset the ecu you need to remove the back up fuse (ecu fuse) or just disconnect the battery for 5 mins or so.

haha when i first saw it thats what i thought...its funny cuz everyone always asks me if it is or not...some one at the honda dealership asked if the egr valve was stuck open...they said that it could be messing up the air fuel ratio???? never heard of thatComment
