Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    something wrong with my CB7 HELP!

    something is wrong with my CB7 there are times i am driving on the freeway and it doesn't want to accelerate fast it goes slow, it starts working good once the check engine light turns on and the sport light (Green "S" light) start flashing, after that the car accelerates how it suppose to... someone please help me! tell me what is wrong with my CB7!!!

    sounds like you have a transmission problem...on the passenger side underdash, look for the scs connector. its between the kick panel and glove box...kinda tucked upward.. its a 2 wire/pin blue connnector...jump it and turn the key to the on position. your check engine light on the dash should flash a series of codes...long and short blinks. count them and post what you got...

      Long blinks are 10, short blinks are 1.

        like what is the meaning of the patterns..?

                My car did that. It idled really rough, and surged. Then the CEL would kick on, And it would smooth out alot. I cant say What exactly I did to fix it cause I changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, cleaned my IAC, Fuel filter, air filter, and ect, But that sure took care of most of my idle, and surging problems.

                    Not everytime. Usually once a week or so, unless someone uses it with a cold sore.

                      long blinks represent the tens digit of the code, short blinks represent the ones digit:


                      quick quick quick is code 03 (no long blink and three short blinks= 03)

                      long quick quick is code 12 (one long blink, two short blinks)

                      long long long would be 30

                      for example.

                      Once you have the codes, write in and we'll tell you what they mean. Or maybe a list of them is in the stickies.
