ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Chilton vs. Haynes service manulals

    is tehre any preference?
Chilton's for the CB7 seems harder to find up here, but I had a Chilton manual for my '86 civic and a Haynes for my '89 - I liked the Chilton better.

They make another one that the service techs at the Honda dealership said they used made by Helms but you'll pay for it. It's the best one out there from what i've heard but here again it's like up to $100.00. Between the Chilton and Haynes though I really have no preference.

Haynes all the way. They are more model specific, where as the Chiltons cover various models, such as the Accord and Prelude in one book. My haynes is soley based on the 90-93 Accord, a complete tear down and rebuild.

Really? I've only seen Chiltons like that. My old '92 came with a CB only Haynes so I dont know where it originally was purchased at. Try Amazon.

Yeah, I like the Hayne's as well, for the reason stated above. There is way too much shit to dig thru in the Chilton manual

                      It's all good. no worries.

Chilton covers 1984-1995 Accord and Prelude models. That's multiple generations of multiple platforms. It sucks.

Haynes is better, as it is platform and generation specific.

Helm is the best. I don't regret that investment.

I don't regret the investment either, but You can d/l them off that site. I knew for a fact to get one for the 88-91 civic as I was working on them all the time and 94-95 then 96-01 integra's as I was doing alot of swaping with them both. I'm buying one for my cb here soon. But intill then I just d/l that off the site and print out the pages I need.

That site doesn't directly specify a 90 - 93 cb7 d/l link, but I snagged the one pointing to the '90... Should be quite similar.
