ok everyone just a common fix here
im not sure is this is technically a DIY cause its only discussing 1 of a possible many problems.
bottom line for those of you who have been poor hood sprayer pressure for your windshield and you have tried everything from cleaning the sprayers to changing the hoses with no improvement i have good news for you.
this method takes 5 minutes and anyone can do this.
tools u need:
1 small size zip tie
1 pliers
1 cutting tool
ok now u see this sucker where its moist
that is the culprit. i dont think these have a defined nipple as the other parts of the hose connectors thus causing lack of seal = lack of pressure u get the picture. wrap it around close to the fender leaving about 2-3 mm of room from the bottom.
now cut allowing 1-2 mm of line
and BAM thats all there is to it. quick simple easy and effective. im sure there are better ways to truly seal it but i hope this helps some of u out who are frustrated.
BTW these photos were taken with that iphone i have in the classifieds.(yes its night time and yes my car is dirty T__T just b happy ur water squirts)
and if this helps enough people then i can put this in the DIY but like i said previously its only addressing one of the many possible problems so its not truly a full DIY.
