ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

my steering wheel vibrates if the car isn't warmed up or if the tires are cold.

I was on the highway one time and the steering wheel started vibrating so violently I had to pull over...all the lug nuts on the front wheels were coming loose...

could just have shitty tires. are they cheap ones? those usually don't balance out that well.

      could be bent wheels too.

Doeble check ure suspension then, make those axle nuts are tight and so on.I mean if u swap rims and the vibration was still there then recheck ure self.

take your car and get all your wheels balance

it might be balance. This happen when the weight clip on the wheel is missing.

When that happened It will cause your wheel to be unbalance and shake a little when you at high speed (~45+)

Check your CV axle boot and look to see if it rip. If so that might explain the clicking noise. You will need to replace your axle

Strangely enough, bad motor mounts can cause this. I had my motor swapped back in March or so; never put in the front mount. It killed the back mount and the motor was sagging. I put a new front mount in and the vibration stopped. If your front mount is dead, it's very possible your back mount is dead and you're getting some of the vibrations I was getting.

cv axles can cause this, inspect for leaks at boot.
check ball joint wear, if the suspension ball joints are worn it will cause the spindle wander causing the steering wheel to shake.
inspect lower ball joints and tie rod ends.
also check engine mounts for wear.
                        good luck.

I believe sears still does free front end inspections. They'll tell you if anything needs replacing. It could be the Ebay suspension stuff. When I did my ROH swap last year I decided to replace everything since the car has
230k on it. Got the kit off ebay with upper control arms and lower bj's, inner and outer tie rods, also got some $26 wheel bearings. Save some money right....RIght. I just had to replace both lower bj's and both wheel bearings AGAIN! The uppers are pretty much gone too. Lasted about 5k.
                          Good Luck

i kinda thought the ebay stuffs made it worst, the reason i changed those stuffs because one of the tie rod riped, so i ordered the whole kit from ebay for $120, i think i m gonna do this again with napa parts,

so which parts should i start to change first, upper or lower ball joints or inner or outer tie rods??
or mayb i should put back the factory parts on the car

to all of u out there, DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM EBAY, UNLESS IS A NAME BRAND OR ELSE WASTE OF MONEY

jack your car up, and put both hands on 9:00 and 3:00 of the tire, and try to wiggle,
                              if it moves =tie-rods

hands on 6:00 and 12:00 and wiggle,
if it moves wheel bearings, which could be the culprit, since is the only one you havent mencioned

also to remove the lower BJ, u must push out the bearing a little (might have worsen the problem)
